Welcome To The Study
Welcome: Thank you for participating in the NIST NMR interlaboratory study. Your participation is a critical element to the success of this study. We at NIST are grateful for your interest in the harmonization of measurement protocols for the assessment of higher order structure.
The purpose of this forum is to provide a forum to facilitate discussion, since conference calls are especially difficult due to the many time zones represented in this study. On rare instances, we will organize conference calls at important junctures for the project.
As a reminder: Data and completed forms should only be sent to NAPT. Do not send data directly to NIST.
Basic Instructions for the Forum:
- For all external users: Anytime you log in, you will taken to the "IBBR Guest Portal. "Click on "My Groups" on the left hand side of the screen. You will then see the "NMR Interlaboratory Online Forum." Clicking on this link will bring you to the Group Dashboard.
- All Discussion threads and other documents/pages will appear in the center of the browser here. Comments can be posted on Discussion threads. To create a discussion thread, click on "Discussion" on the right side of the browser.
- Other documents/pages are intended for general information only, and separate links will be created on the left hand side of the screen (such as this posting). Comments will not be allowed on these pages. Create a separate discussion thread if you have a question.
- Default emailings: Any time a page, discussion, or comment is added, an email will automatically be sent out to everyone in the group. If you prefer to receive an email Digest instead, go to https://www.ibbr.umd.edu/mailinglist, and select "Digest emails" from the drop-down menu. One digest email will be sent out per day at 17:00 ET (Eastern United States time).
- Emails related to the online forum will have [nmr_study] in the subject line.
- Comments to a discussion thread can be made by replying to the [nmr_study] email. There is no need to log onto the IBBR website. The only reason to log onto the IBBR website would be to create a new discussion thread.
- A new discussion thread can be created by emailing nmr_study@group.ibbr.umd.edu.
- ***All attachments will be stripped off by the IBBR web server for all external users***
Restrictions
- No reference should be made to your anonymized data code assigned by NAPT. Otherwise, the identity of your data will be compromised. The industrial partners in this study require data anonymity.
- NIST reserves the right to delete any comment that NIST deems inappropriate or may potentially compromise the confidentiality of the data of this study.
- Data and completed forms should only be sent to NAPT. Do not send data directly to NIST.
