Precision NanoSystems Inc. Lunch & Learn

Links

Precision NanoSystems Inc. (PNI) is sponsoring a Lunch & Learn on Monday, September 12th at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research in Rockville, Maryland. PNI is highlighting their NanoAssemblr: A Novel Nanoparticle Technology for Delivery of Drugs, Nucleic Acids & other Molecules.

Please join Dr. Andrea Armstead, PNI field application scientist, for a seminar on how their technology has removed the challenges associated with conventional methods for nanoparticle production. PNI will provide insight on how one can formulate nanoparticles that encapsulate a drug, molecule, and/or Nucleic Acid of choice for a variety of applications. With this technology, one will have the freedom to create reproducible lipid or polymeric nanoparticles while also being able to fine tune their size. Furthermore, once the nanoparticles have been optimized in the lab, they won't have to be optimized further while scaling up for commercial production.

Come learn how this new technology can help to:

  • Increase drug delivery specificity;
  • Mitigate drug toxicity;
  • Prevent siRNA/mRNA degradation;
  • Encapsulate hydrophobic molecules;
  • Formulate vehicles with lipids and polymers;
  • Prolong your patent with new delivery technique;
  • Prolong your patent with new delivery technique; and
  • Reduce production time and financial cost associated with scaling up from the wet lab to commercial production.

PNI will also discuss their Neuro9 Kits which use an endogenous uptake mechanism for the efficient delivery of RNA to primary neurons.  Please note, the event is free to attend; however, participation in the seminar is required as well as registration.
