Please submit this request with the information necessary for us to create an account for you in cryoSPARC. This is only possible if you already have access to IBBR HPC cluster, non-IBBR users must send inquiries to Ed Pozharski (epozhars@umd.edu) or their IBBR collaborator.
Read the explanation below before accessing the application survey here.
CryoSPARC generates large amounts of data. It is expected that your research group acquires dedicated storage on the cluster. When answering question #6, your options are
- Partition owned by the research group
Your group already has dedicated storage on the cluster (in general, PI of the group should know the details). Select the option and specify the path to your dedicated storage location on the cluster when answering question #7. Notice that location you specify must be accessible to IBBR cryoSPARC instance. - Research group is acquiring dedicated data storage
You do not have any dedicated storage on the cluster currently, but it is being acquired. You will be given interim access to the main storage array and expected to export your project data once dedicated storage is established. You may skip question #7. - Dedicated data storage unavailable
Your group does not plan or expect to acquire dedicated storage for the cryoSPARC data. This could be fine for short term collaborations. Keep in mind that you are expected to limit overall storage use in cryoSPARC by promptly deleting completed jobs etc. Your access may be restricted if the quotas are exceeded. Our general expectation is that you will stay within <5Tb limit. - Other
