Biomolecules on Surfaces and in Solutions Home

A symposium on “Biomolecules on Surfaces and in Solutions” will be hosted at the Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology Research (IBBR) in Rockville, Maryland, from 1:30pm-6:00pm on Friday, January 20, 2023. Scientists will come together to discuss their research related to the structure of biomolecules at interfaces and in solutions.

Two of our colleagues, Susan Krueger at the NCNR and Vitalii Silin at IBBR, have worked on these problems over their entire careers with many collaborators and will be retiring at the end of 2022. Here we will honor their contributions and life-long dedication in this important area of research.

Talks will be followed by a social with light refreshments. The registration is free for this event, however, everyone must REGISTER for participation by January 12, 2023.

There will also be an additional on-site dinner from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm at your own expense. Please indicate if you plan to attend the dinner when you register to be included in the catering headcount. Payment for dinner will be collected in January.
